Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali (Urdu: انور ظهير جمالى born 31 December 1951), is a Pakistani jurist who is currently serving as the 24th Chief Justice of Pakistan since 2015. He was nominated by the Ministry of Law and appointed by President Mamnoon Hussain on 10 September 2015. He has been a Supreme Court Justice since 3 August 2009. He has also been the Acting Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan, and is a previous Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court. |
