Molyneux (/ˈmɒlᵻnjuː/; Old Norman: De Molines or De Moulins) is a surname of Anglo-Norman origin. The name has been linked primarily to a large Norman family that settled in Lancashire, United Kingdom from Normandy in the first wave of families along with William the Conqueror in 1066.
