Gary Wayne Kubiak (born August 15, 1961) is an American football coach and former player who is the current head coach of the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL), a position he has held since January 2015. He previously served as head coach for the NFL's Houston Texans from 2006 to 2013. Kubiak played as a quarterback for the Broncos from 1983 to 1991, as the backup to John Elway.
